Own work?
[edit]Hi Aafi. Would you mind taking a look at File:Max Israel.jpg and File:Y.Chroma model.jpg? The "own work" claims seem a bit questionable. I'm pretty sure these might've been uploaded before under slightly different names, but were deleted either as copyvios or for lacking permission, but I can't remember the file names or whether the files were uploaded locally to English Wikipedia. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:32, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- hmm @Marchjuly - I agree. I suspect COI. I can't see any copies around on the internet but given the condition of en-wiki article, I believe this has been uploaded for advertising purposes alone. 922 × 1,382 & 1,200 × 1,600 (dimensions) say a lot. I don't know if {{No permission since}} is warranted but I believe @AFBorchert will have a better idea. I'm personally more oriented towards a DR in such cases. "Own" doesn't need any more permissions - if there are problems, a DR is the venue to discuss those problems. Regards, Aafi (talk) 08:50, 14 November 2024 (UTC)

- Is a DR still needed after en:WP:AN#Deleted article question? My guess is these files are re-uploads of previously deleted files much like the articles were recreations of previously deleted articles. -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:28, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
