Template usage
[edit]Buongiorno Zandev, can you accept advices? First, thank you for uploading fine images / SVG drawings. When I came accidently to Limit sin x x relabeled.svg I saw that something could be recommnded:
- For
|source=
the template Own based is better suited than Attrib which is more to be used for additional attributions, not for the "main" base. - For
|permission=
only licenses should be given. When a license is specified below of =={{int:license-header}}== this field should remain empty – or removed totally, but never get comments like 'see below'. - When there is any need to specify more than one user, at e.g.
author=
orby=
oreditor=
or Based or Attrib or AutVec etc., the template Userlist (short: Ul) can be used, which internationalizes the final 'and'. - But when the 'original' user is mentioned in Based it need not to be repeated at
author=
, in this case it is enough to specify only the author of the "derivate" file.
The first three changes are made at Limit sin x x relabeled.svg. My best wishes for continuous successful work in wikimedia ! -- sarang♥사랑 10:33, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
Village flag of Epse, Netherlands
[edit]Sir, Could you please vectorize this village flag. The flag is flying at the farm. Please make it svg and upload it to the following thumbmail. Alexphangia Talk 15:05, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Alexphangia: I'll try but I will need additional informations:
- For the blue castle I would put the one inside File:Gorssel vlag.svg that seems to me enough similar, but maybe there are even more similar castles. This would be OK?
- I would need the flag proportion (if unknown I'll use 2/3)
- I don't know how to replicate the "EPSE" text as it is in the raster image. If you find anything more somewhere about it (the font, already vectorialized version) this could be very useful
- ZandDev (talk) 15:32, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Okay. Alexphangia Talk 15:32, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Alexphangia: I found a raster version for now, I'll upload it here: File:Epse vlag.jpg. With it I'll try to vectorize also the text. ... ZandDev (talk) 15:45, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- okay Alexphangia Talk 15:47, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Alexphangia: I don't know the Dutch legislations. Is the flag copyright-free, or assimilable as municipality flags, tagged with {{PD-NL-gemeentevlag}}? ZandDev (talk) 15:57, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, it is used to be public domain for all Dutch local flags. Alexphangia Talk 15:58, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, let's upload. ZandDev (talk) 15:59, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

Autopatrol given
[edit]Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. Abzeronow (talk) 15:51, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
Template
-- Blackcat 14:51, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Copyright status: File:Bandiera di Zuccarello.svg
This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:Bandiera di Zuccarello.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

Warning Google e categorizzazione immagini
-- ZandDev (talk) 16:55, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- @ZandDev Eh... lo so.
- Nella categoria è inserito il {{Wikidata infobox}}
- --ZandDev (talk) 17:16, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
--Alex_brollo Talk|Contrib 17:27, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- Buono a sapersi, te l'avevo scritto io al momento. ZandDev (talk) 17:29, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Alex brollo: Guarda per es. File:Storia dell'arte in Sardegna dal XI al XIV secolo (IA storiadellartein00scan) (page 347 crop).jpg: t|Book senza link, template di licenza triplicato, sta dentro la categoria dello scrittore e in Category:Books uploaded by Fæ. --ZandDev (talk) 17:36, 3 November 2024 (UTC)

- @Alex brollo: (Non serve che mi pinghi nella mia talk) L'avevo vista, ci ho già ficcato alcuni file e figurati, quei svarioni di licenza li correggo io a vista! ZandDev (talk) 17:28, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
